What is Robbery

Robbery is take something of value from unknow person by violence. Robbery can be committed against individuals, businesses, and institutions like banks. It is a criminal act in all states. Threatening people on the streets with a bat and demanding all their money, Vehicle and jewels is robbery, even if the person is not injured. Pushing an elderly woman down on the sidewalk to steal her purse is also robbery. If a deadly weapon is used or threatened it is irritated robbery.

How to Prevent Robbery

For business owners:

  • Check the shop or lot before you enter.
  • Keep windows clear and blinds open
  • Report doubtful people.
  • Close watch surveillance equipment frequently.
  • Make eye contact with all.
  • Keep minimum amount of cash in drawers.

For individuals:

  • Always stay alert and walk pairs in outside.
  • Always keep keys through your fingers that helps you to reach your door or vehicle to escape.
  • Make noise to create a center of attention.
  • Push, kick, bite, and scratch anything to get away.
  • Teach ur childrens also to prevent robbery.

If you are robbed:

  • Cooperate, don't fear.
  • Be evidence conscious
  • Look the focus on a robber facial features and characteristics that cannot be readily changed (tattoos, scars).
  • Don't volunteer more than the robber demands.
  • Always watch for a way to escape.
  • Never go with the robber.
